Scale Search appoints head of Nordics
Scale Search, the executive search brand of Source Group International, has appointed Martin Navne as head of Nordics, associate director effective 13th August 2019.
Gavin Tew, co-founder of Source Group International, commented, “As one of the few who can consistently originate retained mandates, Martin was an obvious choice for the Scale Search expansion. It is important to note he assumed the mantle of leadership in the Nordics when Source had no presence in the region. Through candidate and client acquisition he leaves the Nordics as a significant force within Source, and one which will endure. We thank him for his excellent stewardship.”
Lawrence Hargreaves, co-founder of Source Group International, noted, “As a would-be professional goal-keeper, he remains a safe pair of hands. As a fellow Spurs supporter, he is an eternal optimist. Gavin and I wish him the very best as his career will continue to ascend in Scale Search. We are confident he will complement the Scale offering.”
Cian Loughnane, managing director of Scale Search, said “Martin’s maturity marked him out as a natural choice for Scale Search.
“He will play a critical role in Scale Search plans to enhance their service-offering in the Nordics and play a direct part in helping our clients build better teams and is the first step in building our multi-regional presence.
“Martin has consistently demonstrated the key attributes required to succeed in Scale Search: high autonomy, high drive and high ambition. We are delighted with the decision to join.”
Navne added, “I have reviewed Scale as a very interesting business proposition and think it will be a very fruitful partnership with Cian. I have high hopes for what Scale can do for the future of the business and also the potential dynamic values it can bring in collaboration to Source.
“I think with Cian’s knowledge of the market I have a lot to learn in developing very senior level engagements and how to utilize these that in a profitable and long-term perspective. I am looking very much forward to the future collaboration with both Cian and the wider Source Group.”
