Louise Rayner

Louise Rayner is an independent compliance consultant specialising in supporting the recruitment sector.  Louise has more than 20 years experience working in the recruitment and outsourcing sectors and has held director level positions at Adecco, Randstad, RSM Tenon  and JSA (Umbrella & Ltd Co).     At Adecco, Louise was heavily involved in the implementation of the Travel & Subsistence scheme for more than 35,000 contractors and understands, first hand, the challenge of balancing commercial, operational and compliant forces.  
As a qualified ACCA accountant and an MBA from the prestigious Cass university, she has a keen interest in compliance and risk management.  This unusually commercial & operational background,  combined with her experience of SOX, accreditations, relevant legislation (including dispensation management, AWR, pensions, employment), from both a supplier and agency point of view, give her a unique insight that differentiates her from other advisers in the sector.

Kim Collins

With many years experience in banking, across a number of banks, I have spanned roles across credit, relationship management, business development and most latterly corporate finance (M&A). I am Corporate Finance qualified (ICAEW) and now leading the recruitment sector across London and the South East, with a portfolio of clients in Mid Markets (T/O £25m+)

 My recruitment focus has enabled me to build sector expertise with some 80% of my portfolio being both owner managed, and public companies, operating in the recruitment space. I enjoy supporting these businesses throughout their lifecycles, both through growth phases, and  “life events” such as change of ownership and helping achieve their strategic plans.

Keith Boyce

Keith Boyce is experienced in growing small companies and transitioning them into larger entities has enabled him to understand, address and implement processes to manage the challenges faced by businesses of these levels. His strengths are in the understanding of ground level processes and the implementation of these whilst aligning them with the growth strategies of the business. His heavy involvement in two acquisitions has enabled him to focus strategies towards growth with acquisition or exit routes as drivers.

With more than 18 years financial, operational and commercial experience, having trained and qualified with a practice in London where he spent seven years working across audit, tax and business advisory. Then set up his own practice and moved in to commerce having now held several senior level positions since.

John House

John House is a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant with significant practical experience across a range of different business sectors and finance/management disciplines.

Steven Raize

Steven Raize (Corporate Partner) - joined Gateley as a corporate partner in January 2015 having previously worked at both Baker McKenzie and Clifford Chance. He specialises in the Recruitment Sector, and has substantial private equity and M&A experience, in particular with share sales and purchases and cross border transactions, MBOs, asset sales, joint ventures and group reorganisations. Steven has acted on the sale and purchase of numerous recruitment companies and regularly provides such companies with on-going corporate advice.

Steven has been recognised as “commercially minded” in the Legal 500.

Adrian is recognised as one of the UK’s leading lawyers specialising in the recruitment industry. Founder and managing director of Lawspeed, chairman of the Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC) and founder and director of Standards in Recruitment (SiR).

Adrian qualified as a solicitor in 1978 gaining wide ranging litigation and commercial experience as partner in three firms. In 1997 he set up Lawspeed as a specialist legal and compliance adviser to the recruitment industry, devising new forms of commercial contracts and support for agencies and umbrella companies. Adrian’s work includes the first IR35 friendly contracts, and he is architect of the limited company opt out. Set up the ARC in 2009 to provide a membership service for lobbying and support information/services for recruitment businesses, track record of success on changing the Agency Worker Regulations, Employment Tribunal rules. Following a 3 year gestation period with a hirer/agency stakeholder group, set up Standards in Recruitment (SiR) in 2015 as a universally applicable independent accreditation to identify and promote quality recruitment businesses."

Nicki Stewart
