Role:  180 Recruitment Consultant Contract:  Full time/Permanent Remuneration:  Negotiable (depending on experience) Location:  East Kilbride, Lanarkshire Company:  McCormack Partners Launched in 2016, McCormack Partners is a specialist consultancy that source talent exclusively for the UK’s Roofing and Cladding sector.  We work with many of the UK’s fastest-growing Contractors, Distributors and Manufacturers, helping them find and retain specialist Sales, Technical, Operational and Executive staff. As the business continues to rapidly expand, and an abundance of job orders are filling the pipeline, we are searching for a positive and outgoing individual to operate their own 180 recruitment desk, offering you the opportunity to make the role your own. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, where getting it right first time is a prerequisite. Responsibilities: This is a 180 role with no need for business development, you will be managing the candidate side of the recruitment process Sourcing and contacting new candidates from a variety of avenues including LinkedIn, Social Media, Internal Databases, Headhunting, Referrals, Networking, Job Adverts You will become an expert in your market, building up a network of top talent within the Roofing and Cladding sector Head hunt passive candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn and use job boards to source active candidates looking for new positions Write creative, high quality job adverts, emails, and LinkedIn messages to attract top talent Build a deep understanding of your clients and roles you represent to present them to candidates Conduct pre-screening calls to qualify candidates to make sure they are suitable for the needs of your clients, before scheduling and coordinating interviews Proactively engage with candidates to ensure they are supported throughout the recruitment process and their requirements are being met Negotiating, persuading, and influencing to achieve the best outcome and close job offers for your candidates Key Candidate Requirements: Previous Recruitment resourcing experience within the construction industry Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, always looking to improve ways of working and keen to contribute new ideas You are a charismatic people person who can talk to anyone, with excellent communication skills and someone who loves speaking to different people every day Excellent ability to establish and maintain strong lasting relationships Self-driven with the ability to forward plan and manage your own schedule effectively You have superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow through on tasks Aptitude in decision-making with the ability to work well under pressure within a strict deadline environment You are obsessive about the candidate experience and are respectful of the candidate and the stressful process a job hunt can be You are self-aware, well-spoken on the phone and can write eloquent emails Support and Progression: You will develop career-long skills working within a dynamic business environment, alongside a collaborative and driven team, who will be on hand to offer support when needed.  As the business continues to grow, you will become a key member of the team and be given more responsibility and agency to share your own insights, ideas, and create your own recruitment strategies
