Account Manager Cardiff Competitive Salary EKtemps is a specialist provider of temporary retail sales personnel and highly qualified make-up artists to the retail cosmetics and fragrance industries, covering both short and long-term staffing needs throughout the UK. EKtemps is a growing agency working with leading brands across the cosmetics and fragrance sectors. We provide staff at all major department stores for some of the world’s leading brands including Chanel, Puig, Coty and Bare Minerals. The role is based at our central Cardiff office in a fun environment and shared space with our sister promotional staffing agency eventeem. The Account Manager Role We require an ambitious recruitment account handler to join our busy agency team on a permanent basis. The agency is recently under new ownership and soon to implement repositioning and expansion plans, so this office-based role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in staffing and establish themselves as a key member of the team. An excellent next position for someone with a couple of years temporary staffing agency experience. The role offers significant scope for genuine progression, in a company that values its employees and their contributions. Responsibilities will include: Dealing with incoming client requests for staffing efficiently and professionally Providing a reliable, professional and understanding audience for the client Seeking to develop robust and friendly relationships with the client Advertising roles to our staff resource Matching the right staff to each booking, personally assessing suitability Creating staff profile packs to provide to your clients Facilitating all booking admin including staff briefing Working effectively with the agency recruitment support and regional managers Participate in an on-call rota, making yourself available on the agency mobile to answer queries from staff that are working on assignment over an allocated weekend (usually every third weekend) Requirements for the Account Manager Role Have a passion for dealing with people Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Display a friendly, captivating, yet professional manner, with an ability to build rapport Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to put their own stamp on the role Have fantastic organisation and time management skills Possess an ability to multitask and work to deadlines Have strong IT skills and a good command of the English language Have at least 2 years recruitment experience, ideally in the temporary market If you feel you are suitable for our Account Manager position, please apply now
