Who you’ll work for This fantastic opportunity will give you the full training and support needed to build a career in the world of professional recruitment as an apprentice recruitment resource with extensive growth opportunities within the business upon completion of the apprenticeship to allow you to specialise in Recruitment or Business Development. You will work as a part of a team of recruiters supporting companies to fill skills gaps within their businesses; gaining both industry and product knowledge while learning the key skills that will be the foundation of your career in recruitment. We are looking for a hardworking, determined and career minded individual, who possess excellent communication and rapport building skills. Day in the life, core values As an Apprentice Recruitment Resourcer your job includes: Making and answering calls to candidates, taking new leads and forwarding them as appropriate. Looking through Relevant Job boards for candidates Identifying candidate skills/strengths and tagging these as appropriate Objection handling and signposting candidates to appropriate opportunities Meeting and exceeding targets in a fast paced but fun environment Proactively identifying talent for specialised roles using a variety of resources Maintaining accurate client records and utilities databases. General administration duties. What experience and skills do I need? Five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and IT / Science. Personal skills, experience Good IT Skills Have an interest in sales and providing excellent customer service The desire to succeed A confident and professional telephone manner Good sense of humour Work well within a team as well as using your own initiative Excellent communication skills Good time management Good organisational skills An ability to work to deadlines A good eye for detail You might also have (but don’t need): Experience selling in a B2B environment What you will learn during your training programme. Identify client recruitment requirements Pre-select and assess candidates The use of CRM systems to accurately search and select based on predefined requirements The ability to manage the sales cycle and take ownership of accounts Match and present candidates to employers Attract potential candidates Brief and support candidates Carry out candidate debriefing Administer recruitment processes Develop working relationships with colleagues Sustain customer-focused relationships with clients Conduct market research Analyse competitor activity Future career prospects By working hard and demonstrating your ability, drive and commitment throughout your 12-18 month apprenticeship scheme, upon completion you will be offered a permanent contract ensuring you have further opportunities to continue growing within this exciting organisation
