Job Description

Position: Assistant Recruitment Manager Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week Monday – Friday. Weekly alternating starts of 8am and 9am. Location: London SE11-6NQ. Salary: Up to £30,000 pa (Based on experience) + Commission Benefits: 28 days Annual Leave (including Bank Holidays), Company Uniform, Canteen, Onsite Gym and Free personal training sessions 2020 saw The Pimlico Group support London’s NHS and wider community through a pandemic with free emergency work, discounted labour and a superb 24 hour service. We have established ourselves as London’s Largest Independent Maintenance Company and have huge growth planned throughout 2021. You will be reporting into the recruitment manager whilst supervising a team of Internal Recruiters as well as sourcing & interviewing candidates and implementing the employment processes. To be successful in this role, you should have be experience in screening and evaluating candidates, have excellent communication skills & some previous team leader / managerial experience. Responsibilities * Overseeing the recruitment of our office based roles * Helping implement effective recruitment methods covering a number of areas: Heating, Plumbing, Electrics, Carpentry, Roofing, Drainage and Appliance as well as internal office staff * Implement new sourcing methods & Recruit the best Trades and Labour professionals London has to offer * Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance when the recruitment manager is on annual leave * Generating reports and stats regarding performance of the team * Leading in depth interviews for engineers and office based candidates * Holding inductions for new starters, coordinating with several internal departments to ensure a smooth process Requirements * Highly experienced in Construction recruitment or Office staff * Previous experience at management / Team leader level * Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems * Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation * Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills Equal Opportunities: The Pimlico Group has a positive commitment to the promotion of Equal Opportunities for all employees and prospective employees.
