Join the leading technology recruiters in Sussex Hays Digital Technology are the leading tech recruitment business operating in Brighton. We partner with start-ups, international businesses, large corporates and the public sector to attract niche technical talent across the city. We're very good at what we do. We've had a brilliant year and next year is looking even better. There were only a couple of us at the end of 2017, and now there are 7 of us, operating across Software Engineering, Web Development, BI & Data, Infrastructure & Networking, Digital Marketing, Special Projects & Leadership and Interim Contracts. Our team manager recently won a national award for innovation and we had some of the highest growth out of all the teams across Hays UK. We run meetups and events across the city, our expertise is sought after by technology leaders all over Sussex and we know the local market like the back of our hands. We're looking for ambitious and intelligent individuals to join us. No prior experience is needed; none of us have a background in recruitment, and we come from a range of industries and experiences. Our biggest billers started as Associates and have since built up their skills and networks. They're now influential players in an extremely competitive and lucrative market. You'll learn from a mix of on the job training and offsite Hays programmes. You'll learn how to business develop and network, how to build long lasting relationships with professionals at the top of their game, how companies operate and are structured, how to embed yourself within communities, and much, much more. The starting salary is £17,900 + commission. When you're promoted from Associate, which usually takes 6 to 9 months and is based on your effort and aptitude, you'll go up to £22,500 + commission. We expect Associates to earn around 25k in year one, 35k in year 2 and 50k+ in year 3. It's not unreasonable to expect to be earning 6 figures after 5 years. It's not an easy job, but if you're the sort of person we're looking for, that won't concern you. You'll spent year one learning your niche specialism and how to recruit. After that, you'll help us expand further by mentoring and training new Associates and taking responsibility for key client accounts.
