To lead recruitment campaigns, advise hiring managers on best practice approaches for each campaign, ensuring that both managers and candidates experience an excellent recruitment process from end to end.
Main duties and responsibilities
Develop relationships with hiring managers to understand their requirements and provide recruitment expertise, coach, advise, plan and deliver the most effective recruitment and advertising solutions.
Develop candidate attraction strategies to source hard to fill roles
Undertake consultation with each hiring manager to create a brief of the vacancy campaign and agree actions and timescales
Proactively source and nurture a pipeline of quality candidates who meet the needs of current and future opportunities.
Utilise a variety of channels to source relevant, skilled candidates including actively searching for potential candidates on LinkedIn Recruiter and relevant databases. Maximising and harnessing those networks and developing our 'careers' social media presence.
Support the delivery of relevant and high-quality recruitment communication materials, via an evidence-based approach (identify key words, trends and targets). Assist hiring managers in developing attractive and accessible adverts and role profiles to attract high quality, relevant candidates
Promote materials via the innovative marketing technology and tools, like programmatic advertising and via social networks.
Monitor the number and quality of applications and intervene as necessary to ensure each campaign is successful.
Advise hiring managers in the design of interview/assessment processes, working closely with the HR/OD team in the development of innovative selection techniques to include psychometric testing, assessment centres etc where appropriate.
Lead on long listing applications in line with the agreed role specifications
Support hiring managers with short listing.
Tightly manage a multi-stage interview process that ensures that decisions are made in a structured way and according to pre-defined criteria with the goal of reducing bias.
Attend and support hiring managers at interview stage
Maintain a library of marketing materials and up to date recruitment documentation, ensuring the recruitment filing is compliant with best practice, internal requirements and GDPR
Ensure all process comply with the recruitment policy and best practice
Respond to any incoming enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring that any follow up actions required are actioned or passed on to the relevant colleague.
HR systems and reporting
Utilise the new applicant tracking and onboarding system including process review, system configuration, user testing, communications and training of new users.
Ensure the applicant tracking and onboarding system is always GDPR compliant through regular reviews of content and liaison with our Information Governance team.
Produce and present reports for the applicant tracking and onboarding system (including pre-designed and bespoke reports)
Use data to suggest improvements and innovations to our recruitment approach and processes.
Work in close liaison with the HR Assistants, payroll and the wider HR team to ensure value is created from all HR processes (e.g. requisitions, offers and onboarding, internal talent management) and that processes and hand overs are seamless.
Present training, workshops, lunch and learn sessions to further enhance the recruitment knowledge and capability of the organisation.
Maintain agreed service levels to hiring managers and ensure the Recruitment Assistants are adhering to performance levels
Undertake any other duties at the request of the line manager which are commensurate with the role, including project work, absence cover or new initiatives
