Building Better Opportunities is a multi-million pound programme tackling poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged people in England. The Bridges project will support participants aged 25+ who have complex or multiple barriers to employment in order to promote independence, improve health, build confidence, enhance capability and gain the skills to improve employability. You will be part of our Employment and Training team who are responsible for employer engagement, business enterprise development and supporting educational attainment within our communities and neighbourhoods. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who can engage with customer and participants from across our communities. You will also need experience of coordinating recruitment and marketing campaigns for social engagement projects, especially through the use of social media. Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, to ensure that all of our project activities fulfil our funding requirements are also a must. The role will involve occasional work outside standard office hours and local travel across the Borough.
