Job Description

Business Analyst / Project Manager HR Payroll and Recruitment systems implementation London based Council Purpose of the job: We are looking for the PM/BA experienced in Midland HR&Payroll and Recruitments systems. The task would require migrating at least 8K employees’ data from ResourceLink (NGA software) to iTrent. Experience of at least 2 migration projects would be advantageous. Skillsets: * Prince 2 and BSC qualifications with the experience of the full lifecycle implementation * Excellent project, business risk, stakeholder and change management skills * Experience in the full implementation lifecycle of HR&Payroll system: Background systems, BACS, self service, self service for managers, recruitment system for both applicants and hiring managers * Experience in public sector migrating HR&Payroll data with a particular attention to LG terms and conditions and pension schemes for both LG and teachers * Experience in recruitment and management of the project team * Experience of liaison with the BAU HR&Payroll teams whilst managing the migration project team * Experience in Extract, Transform and Load (ETL), parallel running and HR payroll reconciliation: coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT- both accuracy and functional) , parallel running, and carrying out payroll comparisons to ensure that the data loaded is accurate and functional before go-live. * Experience in coordinating conflicting activities whilst working closely with the business, vendor consultants and technical staff to define complex transformations * Responsibility of project co-ordination from day one through to go-live & post implementation support * Responsibility for Project Management and planning activities, in accordance with other affected projects being rolled out in parallel, such as the Business Intelligence, whilst acknowledging any current open issues * Research, detailed Requirements Analysis and Problem Solving skills * Change Management / documentation skills * Analysing the Interfaces from the existing HR/Payroll system and writing specifications for the “To Be” Interfaces and Processes, ensuring a successful transition at go-live skills * Good Functional knowledge of Midland HR iTrent * Good Functional knowledge of ResourceLink * Real Time Information (RTI) and Auto Enrolment knowledge * Ideally technical background and understanding of HR&Payroll system build, database design and maintenance This is the 18 months project renewed on the 3 months roll out basis
