Job Title: Business Development & Recruitment Coordinator Salary: £24,000 pa + bonus subject to meeting targets (approx. £6,000), pension 4% in year one, 5% in year two onwards. Location: Portchester Duration: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday The role of the Business Development &Recruitment Coordinator is to support the Apprenticeships Manager in leading the growth of our client’s business. You will focus on expanding both the number of learners enrolled in apprenticeship programs and the number of employees engaged in the delivery of apprenticeships. As the Business Development & Recruitment Coordinator you will also increase our client’s profile within the relevant business and educational communities, maximising opportunities for cross-selling and offering a one-stop-shop for training needs within the industry. As the role will require regular company visits, a company car will be provided. Responsibilities: * Ensuring the currency and validity of information given to employers and learners is up to date and accurate. * Delivering agreed performance targets in line with Key Performance Indicators. * Undertaking agreed CPD training including mandatory training. * Planning, identifying and notifying the Apprenticeships Manager of additional resource needs at pinch points in the year. * Liaising with Apprenticeships Manager on the ongoing development of the Tracker system to ensure that the vision of an effective electronic (paper-free) system is realised. * Delivering to Quality Assurance processes in line with the business & external Policies. * Carrying out all duties with full regard to the Health, Safety and Welfare policies. * Any other duties commensurate with the post Apprenticeship Recruitment: - * Ensure annual targets are met. * Agee a schedule of careers events and ensure our client is fully represented at appropriate career events. * Organise and attend learner assessment days and interviews in conjunction with curriculum staff and Apprentice Manager. * Match learners’ applications to employer vacancies and arrange interviews. * Ensure that all paperwork is completed and compliant with funding rules and Ofsted requirements. * Ensure that all learners are placed into a safe environment that supports the journey towards the completion of their apprenticeship. Employer Engagement: - * Develop a comprehensive employer database and increase the number of employers engaged in the delivery of apprenticeships. * Provide advice and information to employers relating to their commitment to apprentices and the apprenticeship programme, in particular their participation in the review process. * Schedule a ‘keep in touch’ meeting with all employers at least every 6 months and record outcome on MIS (Tracker) system. * Ensure that all paperwork is completed and compliant with funding rules and Ofsted requirements. Quality and Compliance: - * Support the Apprenticeships Manager with the development of one effective Management System. * Establish effective relationships between Employers, the business and learners, ensuring a positive experience for all. * Ensure data collection supports funding claims and is error free. * Provide the Apprenticeships Manager with monthly reports against targets (including growth). * Take the lead on conducting annual customer satisfaction surveys in line with SAR requirements, analyse the data and create reports * Evaluate value for money arising from events and report to Apprenticeships Manager. * Ensure that all quality standards are met and retained, MATRIX, OfSTED, SAR, IAG. Key Skills * Appropriate degree or equivalent/relevant vocational qualification at level 3 or above * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent record keeping and organisational skills * Understanding and interpretation of targets * Time management (ability to work to deadlines) * Ability to use initiative and problem solve * Excellent report writing skills * Excellent use of a variety of sales techniques and track record of sales through relationship building * Understanding of quality processes and contract compliance * Team worker and confidence in dealing with conflict * Diplomacy skills (difficult situations/constructive feedback) * Clean, current driving license Travail Employment Group is operating as an Employment Agency.
