Business Development Manager – Power Construction and Engineering Recruitment Derby Resourcing Solutions is a leading and award winning recruitment specialist in Engineering and Construction disciplines for Rail, Power and the Built Environment/Construction. Role description The purpose of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to build and nurture strong and effective client relationships. The BDM will deploy a structured business development plan which has mapped out all of the clients within their specific sector and/or discipline area. The BDM will be required to spend the majority of their time and focus enabling these relationships to gain opportunities for the business. These opportunities are then passed to a Delivery Consultant or resourcing function for fulfilment. At Resourcing Solutions we support the recruitment of the specialist design, build and operation of the power networks of the UK and the interconnectors to other countries. We work with the asset owners, the Original Equipment Manufacturers, the principle contractors and the specialist and regional construction and engineering companies including providing the labour on site construction. Key responsibilities include: * Identifying revenue earning opportunities within specialist sector/discipline area. * Creating and operating a business development plan that will deliver new business as well as grow business from existing clients. * Creating and operating a client visiting strategy focused on gaining new business opportunities whilst retaining existing client relationships * Negotiating with clients on fee and rate structures. * Ensuring compliance to mandatory policies, processes and guidelines set out as best practice. * Utilise internal databases for all information and ensure only clean data is added.
