Business Development Executive: Alliance Group of Companies Firstly, let me explain a little about The Alliance Group and our aims for the future. Established in 2002 by directors having over 50 years combined experience with the temporary recruitment market, specifically within the Construction sector, we had a vision of improving contractor’s perception of using agencies for additional labour, by having individual Labour Hire companies, specialising within specific areas of the construction arena. We still very much believe in this concept, having constant fantastic feedback from our clients and our specialist companies now form part of a group having a turnover of some £9m, specialising within 5 sectors, all connected to the Construction industry. Our vision is to grow both geographically and into further sectors achieving our 20-20-20 vision, of having a £20m turnover group of companies by October 1st 2020. What are we looking for? We now want to push forward with our expansion plans and seek to bring on board a Business Development Person to work alongside some fabulous members of staff we already have. Working within our sales division, you will be comfortable selling the services of our specialist companies to prospective clients. You will have overall responsibility for the sales activity, with the objective of attracting new clients, as well as gaining further business from our existing client portfolio. Our route to market historically has been to research our target market, make initial contact via the telephone, followed by email and printed marketing literature, however building relationships by being personable, with an ability to show our knowledge of this market, is paramount to winning new business. Drive, energy, a can do, attitude, a people person, with proven experience of winning business in a B2B environment are just some of the qualities that would help you be successful in this exiting role.
