Carer Recruitment & Referrals Administrator Archway Care – Milton Keynes £12,500 Annual Salary working 18.5 hours per week Archway Care is a well established independent fostering agency with offices in Milton Keynes and Wisbech. We work with local authorities throughout the U.K providing high quality foster placements for children/young people and have foster carers. We are part of the National Fostering Agency Group and while we retain our own identify we have benefited from the support of NFA’s services including working with eight other acquired fostering agencies nationwide. We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated Carer Recruitment & Referrals Administrator working on a part-time basis of 18.5 hours per week providing comprehensive administrative support in relation to carer recruitment and the placement of children and young people with Archway Care Foster carers. Duties will include but are not limited to the maintenance and update of systems and records. Dealing with fostering enquiries from diverse sources, and carrying out screening calls to assess and determine progression of enquirer to applicant and initial visit and tracking this throughout the carer journey. Preparation and submission of carer recruitment statistics and reports. Assisting with the provision of agency information and documentation, collating, maintaining and mailing information packs to applicants / enquirers. Liaise with various Local Authorities country wide via telephone or email upon receipt of referrals and consider, with support from the placements officer, whether we have an appropriate match with Archway Care foster carers. This is a fast paced role and you will need to be IT proficient with a good knowledge of Microsoft office and the use of databases. You will need to have great interpersonal, analytical and logical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail. You will need to be a driver with the use of a car to attend recruitment events and be smart and articulate in representing Archway Care within the public domain.
