Foster Care Associates (part of the Core Assets Group) are an award winning Independent Fostering Agency who are looking to recruit a Carer Recruitment Officer to join the team with a focus on the Eastern region. Your role will be to carry out carer recruitment activity across the region (Norfolk, Suffolk & Essex) and to coordinate marketing activity, to develop and deliver carer recruitment campaigns, supporting foster carer engagement plans and providing marketing support and collateral for regional business activities contracts. You will visit prospective foster carers and manage these through the recruitment cycle to Approval. OTHER DUTIES • Work as part of the regional Recruitment Performance Review (RPR) team to ensure the right foster carers are recruited in the right areas, meeting the regional approval target. • Develop an annual marketing plan to ensure enquiry targets are met. • Organise local, community engagement events to encourage applications from members of the public to become foster carers. • Manage and coordinate all local social media activity. • Implement targeted media campaigns, working effectively with the appointed media agency. • Work closely with Head of Carer Recruitment and the regional teams to develop and deliver weekly, monthly and annual recruitment events and activity planners. • Manage the regional carer recruitment marketing budget. • Ensure all activity is targeted, planned and monitored to deliver results and measurable return on investment. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Minimum of two years working in a marketing, sales or recruitment environment • Development and implementation of marketing plans • Managing marketing campaigns across a variety of media • Experience of working in a fast paced or complex environment • The ability to work under pressure and handle changing priorities • Experienced in the use of IT and electronic communications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook email. Previous experience of working in a social services, welfare or a care environment would be desirable but is not essential. Please note that a full driving licence is essential for this role. This is a home-based, full time and permanent role and comes with a salary up to £23,000 pa + bonus + car + benefits.
