FaulknerScott are proud to be partnered with an award-winning animation studio based in the heart of Bristol. Their requirement is a Talent Recruiter to join their busy CGI department on a part-time basis. Ideally, my client is looking for a creative individual with recruitment experience who is not afraid to work in their fast-paced production office sourcing for niche technical short-term roles. The hired individual will be reviewing showreels and sourcing crew members for short form projects, as well as maintaining existing relationships so there’s a pool of freelancers to hire when their skillset is required. The skillset is niche, and the client understands that training will be required to pair up the right experience and person to the right product- career development is a top priority within the organisation. The role is part-time, with some ad-hoc remote working. The office presence is integral to the understanding project needs, keeping up-to-date with changes to production and gaining a well-rounded understanding of talent needed. Responsibilities: • Building relationships with the team and understanding of methods across all areas of the department. • Focus on increasing freelance pool in all areas of the department. • Filtering showreels and editing shortlists for senior team to assess. • Managing the CGImail inbox and responding to all enquiries. • Reviewing candidate job applications and showreels. • Collating suitable reels, reel breakdowns and CVs and sending to the appropriate final reviewer, recording feedback. • Maintaining the talent database and updating candidate availability. • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing freelance crew. • Proactively recruiting for forecasted crew requirements. • Attending industry events and appropriate recruitment opportunities. • Building relationships with other studios and recruiters. Specification • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to work proactively and unsupervised. • Some understanding of production process required - ideally in a CGI focussed environment. • Resourcing experience & knowledge of recruitment processes required. • Experience of maintaining systems. • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills. • Intuitive and enthusiastic approach to problem solving. • Flexible, friendly and supportive approach. • IT proficient – Microsoft Office (essential). • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy.
