Title: Civil Engineer Salary: Competitive Location: Nottingham Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who are currently seeking a dynamic Civil Engineer to be based in their Nottingham office. The main purpose of this role will involve taking responsibility for the management of the design process across a range of small and medium-sized projects. Duties and responsibilities: Preparing highway and drainage designs/drawings Assist the Director on large scale projects managing financial, technical and resourcing issues Delegate work to Junior Engineers and Technicians involved on projects Undertaking site visits to monitor the progress of work Mentor colleagues in developing their technical knowledge and understanding The ideal candidates will hold an MEng or BEng in Civil or Structural engineering and demonstrate experience within a consultancy environment. You will hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with detailed drainage design experience to both S.F.A and Building Regulations part H.
