Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Consultant to work in our specialist Care and Support Division. As a Compliance Consultant you will be responsible for the compliance in the care and support division. To ensure those who are assisted in the community are supported in accordance with their care plan and risk assessment in place. This role is working a very fast paced environment, therefore you must be highly organised with a good attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Driving licence/car owner is essential Knowlege required: Comprehensive understanding of care/support packages including individuals with profound learning disabilities, mental health and elderly/frail You will previous experience and knowledge in supporting vulnerable adults Good working knowledge of CQC requirements and the Health and Social Care Act and other relevant legislation and compliance Responsibilities: To exercise a duty of care at all times to safeguard vulnerable adults To ensure that the registered manager is updated with any changes or concerns that may arise without delay To provide clear, accurate guidance and support to the support workers, ensuring that they feel supported to enable them to successfully complete assignments To coach and advise teams on conduct, capability and effective working practices To carry our regular supervision and an annual appraisal for allocated staff and to keep accurate records of these To deal with any concerns or complaints regarding the staff team or service provision in conjunction with the HR department or registered manager as required To ensure that any specialist training or development required to allow staff to meet service users' needs is sourced as required To ensure that support workers meet legislative standards, service user requirements and Company policy and procedures To communicate any changes to service user needs, shift patterns, health status, medication, risk assessments, procedures and ENS policy to workers efficiently and clearly To complete comprehensive care plans of the needs of the individual, including input from the next of kin and other professionals in order to develop a person centred, safe and effective support plan This role will involve service user visits to ensure that service user needs are being met. You will carry out spot checks to ensure that staff on site are compliant, and to provide feedback if required. Experience in a similar role is essential.
