Job Description

ENS Recruitment based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex have been established since 1991 specialising in the recruitment of health and social care staff. We are recruiting for a Compliance Consultant in our specialist Care & Support Division who deal with supporting individuals with specialist and clinical needs who wish to remain in their own homes. You will be responsible for overseeing the compliance for the Care & Support Division to ensure those assisted in the community are supported in accordance with their care plan and risk assessment in place. To support front line workers to provide a high quality service. This is a very fast paced and busy environment so you must be highly organised with good attention to detail. You will need to have: * Working knowledge of Word, Excel and other Office applications * You must have your own transport as although being mainly office based you will need to visit service users * Have a comprehensive understanding of care/support packages including individuals with profound learning disabilities, autism, mental health and elderly frail * Have previous experience and knowledge in supporting vulnerable adults * Have a good working knowledge of CQC requirements and the Health & Social Care Act and other relevant legislation and ensure compliance Duties will include: * To exercise "Duty of Care" at all times to safeguard vulnerable adults * To ensure the Registered Manager is updated with any changes or concerns that may arise without delay * To provide clear, accurate guidance and support to support workers; ensure that they feel supported to enable them to successfully complete assignments * To coach and advise teams on conduct, capability and effective working practices * To carry out regular supervision, and an annual appraisal for allocated staff and to keep accurate records of these. * To deal with any concerns or complaints regarding the staff team or service provision in conjunction with the HR department or Registered Manager as required Working Monday to Friday, this is a full time position.
