Ivory Jacobs are working with a client based in Southampton (biggest office in London) who specialise within the Construction Industry. The difference with this company is that they are taking their time to attract the right people, their most recent hires were 2 high billing recruiters from the largest construction business in the UK. The owners and management in general are really down to earth guys and have huge ambitions and growth plans. They want to create a credible company that are specialists within their market. They tend to stay away from the blue collar side of things. The typical candidates they find roles for are; Project Managers, Site Managers, Design Managers, Commercial Directors etc.… Higher margins = highers fee's! They Recruit mainly for blue-chip construction companies in the UK and abroad placing the candidates that run and manager major construction companies and projects. The one thing I really liked is that they genuinely care about and look after their team and offer a lot of flexibility to attract the right people. They can offer a very competitive basic salary and up to 30% commission of your billings after a small threshold (£4k a quarter) and they offer amazing incentives, their latest team trip was to Las Vegas and Dubai the year before - and that was for the whole organisation.
