Director of Marketing and Recruitment Swansea, Wales Competitive Salary About the Company: The College, Swansea University is the joint venture company of Swansea University and Navitas plc., a highly successful, decade-long partnership, founded originally as the International College of Wales Swansea. The College, Swansea University was launched in 2018. It sits within the Swansea University brand, delivers a comprehensive portfolio of pathway programmes in a brand new academic building (from October 2018) and opened new student residences in January 2019. About the Director of Marketing and Recruitment Role: The Director of Marketing and Recruitment leads the product marketing activities and works alongside the student recruitment teams in-market (offshore) for The College, Swansea University to drive growth in student numbers in line with the targets included in The College 3-year recruitment and overall Business plans. The Director of Marketing and Recruitment works closely with Swansea University to develop global strategic recruitment initiatives, with a focus on developing and conveying the institutional value proposition to market. As part of The College and the wider Navitas Europe team, the Director of Marketing and Recruitment is required to collaborate with colleagues across the division and the Navitas overseas Source Country Office (SCO) network to meet sales targets and increase conversion rates. As a member of the Senior Management Team of The College, The Director of Marketing and Recruitment will play a critical role in robust portfolio development and in helping to develop new programmes both within and without traditional student pathway business. The Director of Marketing and Recruitment will partner with the College Director to build a robust and sustainable relationship with Swansea University stakeholders and drive recruitment on behalf of the College and the University. Director of Marketing and Recruitment Requirements: A hands on operational leader who is willing to deliver and support The College through change and growth Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Marketing Successful track record of marketing in the education market Proven track record of line management and coaching to build a high performing team Demonstrated experience in the development and management of strategic / operational planning and budgets to achieve successful, cost-effective outcomes Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to create value, develop and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns Proven ability to apply commercial rigour and business acumen to decision-making Strong track record in executing conversion and through a CRM and lead management automation tool (such as Marketo) Demonstrated capacity to work effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders Demonstrated skills and appropriate knowledge of the business environment and applications for the company’s products and services Ability to work in a team both as leader and member to inspire team members to explore and engage in all avenues of product marketing Analytical mind with good problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience managing / leading an Admissions function in an educational setting Desirable: Knowledge and experience of marketing, in an international education environment, including promotion, advertising, digital marketing, branding, building media presence and public relations Successful work experience in a multi-cultural environment Ability to speak a foreign language Welsh language speaker Director of Marketing and Recruitment Benefits: Bonus Scheme - EIP 20% of fixed salary Annual Leave -36 days inclusive of eight (8) Bank Holiday If you think that you are suitable for this Director of Marketing and Recruitment role, please apply now
