Job Description

Looking for a new office-based job? - Are you a qualified Teacher who is looking for a change in career? - Have you just completed a degree and are unsure of which career path to choose? - Are you a graduate seeking a job opportunity to open up many doors to you professionally? - Do you have experience in the Education Sector and are looking for a role whereby you can utilise this knowledge? - Do you have prior experience in any recruitment industry or in an office environment? If you answered 'yes' to any of the above, we may have the perfect position for you. TimePlan Surrey in New Malden is looking for an Education Recruitment Coordinator to join our team as soon as possible! About us: TimePlan Education is an education based recruitment company with branches across the span of the UK, as well as abroad. We help Teachers and Support Staff find supply, long-term, regular and permanent positions in schools around the country and are proud to be the UK's first Education Recruitment Company. Our South West London and Surrey office is situated in New Malden, very close to the station, and we are seeking a professional, well-organised and intelligent individual to join our small, friendly team for the role of Coordinator. This role is available immediately and is a permanent role with opportunities for progression in the future for the right candidate. We do have an exciting new commission structure available for our recruitment consultants, however, we are not a highly corporate recruitment business and have a very friendly, warm sales approach. Teachers are in high demand so schools want what we have- our role is heavily reliant on building relationships with teachers and schools so we're looking for someone warm and confident who can quickly fit and and start building a rapport with our clients. In the Surrey office, we do work with a 'team' ethos- we are a small office (just 3 ladies at the moment) so we work in a very supportive and team based environment. We are hoping to find someone who can easily fit in with the team in the office and who is prepared to 'pull their weight' and be involved in a team environment. As it stands, we have 3 ladies in the office- we're all really chatty and friendly, but knuckle down and work hard to get the job done. You have to be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks and also have a good memory to be aware of what others in the office are getting on with. It's a busy job but it's not rocket science- once you get your head round our system and how we work, it's just keeping on top of everything and being thorough. Also, confidence on the phone is key- don't be afraid of the phone as that's a massive tool in this industry. The role involves: - Pre-vetting candidates on the telephone - Interviewing suitable candidates face-to-face and on the telephone - Filling daily supply bookings - Filling long-term and permanent vacancies - Growing business in our key areas - Visiting schools and meeting Headteachers - Liaising with overseas candidates and supporting their relocation - Creating professional relationships with both staff and schools - Shift work during term time, 7am-4:00pm or 09:00am-6:00pm (reduced hours during the holidays) - Working closely as a tight-knit team with fellow Coordinators We are looking for someone with the following key skills: - Good phone manner - Good level of written English - Friendly and personable - Highly organised with ability to prioritise - A multi-tasker - Team-player - Driven and focussed - Hard-working - Good computer skills - Fast learner - Ability to use initiative - Reliable - A recent graduate or educated to degree level- experience in Education would be ideal or in recruitment - Live locally or within a commutable distance to New Malden In return, we can offer the successful candidate: - Office experience as a stepping stone to a future career - Experience in the recruitment industry - A competitive outer London salary - Team commission initiative - The opportunity to work in a fantastic town centre close to the shops - The chance to work with a team of vibrant, young, professionals - Internal progression for the right candidate We are staging face-to-face interviews for this post as soon as possible, so if this job sounds of interest, please get in touch via phone (Apply online only) or by sending your CV to (url removed). We look forward to hearing from you
