Job Description JOB TITLE: Education Recruitment Consultant (trainees considered) REPORTS TO: Operations Manager BASED AT: SouthernhayGardens, Exeter SALARY: £19,000- £24,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Uncapped commission structure! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Development of new and existing business Develop the prospect client base, by following up new leads, making business development calls and service calls (including cold calling). Identify opportunities for long term and permanent roles for clients. Take and fill day-to-day bookings for staff from clients. Assist in the marketing of the company and its services and support the administration of company activities as and when required. Develop and implement appropriate and effective weekly e-mail shots. Represent the company at local networking events/conferences etc. Attend events including recruitment fairs, conferences and training seminars to find both candidates and potential clients. Achieve personal desk gross profit/financial targets. Achieve weekly ‘KPIs’ (targets) for business development calls/client meetings/ candidate registrations. Negotiate and set pay and charge rates within certain parameters and company guidelines, maintaining a margin percentage. Customer relationship management Make and attend visits with clients in order to fully understand their exact requirements and how we may best assist them Closely monitor relationships with new clients to develop further work and ensure their needs are met Undertake an account management role with appointed clients including securing additional work on an ongoing basis. Management of relationships with clients where there are long-term and permanent vacancies. Candidate recruitment and placement Advertise vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, including websites, job boards, newspapers and magazines. Use social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and clients. Headhunting - identify and approach suitable candidates who may already be in work. Use candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy. Vetting and interviewing candidates to ensure all safeguarding requirements are met and that a good understanding is obtained of their key skills and personal requirements. Work closely with the Compliance Officer to ensure candidates are cleared and ready to start work as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Team working Provide support to other team members in the achievement of their duties, as required. Take responsibility for and lead on key incentives as appropriate. Assist with training and induction of new team members. Contribute during team meetings/discussions and support team activities across the business. Share individual skills and assist with the development of best practice across the business. Reporting and record keeping Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System with all relevant information. Input information accurately. Weekly reporting and termly business planning. Assist in monitoring client spend and maintain an accurate record of these, providing cost analysis to clients when appropriate. Other Adhere to Class People processes. Attend training courses and CPD events as required. Take responsibility for the 24 hour mobile phone as per rota. Carry out any other duties as required
