Job Title: Employer Engagement Officer / Learner Recruiter   Location: Home Based - remote working, candidates must be flexible with travel to Leicester and surrounding as and when required. Type: Full-time, Permanent KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Employer Engagement Officer / Learner Recruiter to join their team.   The successful candidate will be based from home and be responsible for the recruitment and placement of young people aged 16-24 onto Traineeship and Apprenticeship programmes/placements. Role Overview: - Engage with local employers, networks, referral agencies and attend events to secure Apprenticeship and Traineeship placements for your candidates. - Engage with and attract young people aged 16-24, to place on to Traineeship and Apprenticeship placements via Careers fairs, Schools and engaging with referral agencies. - Successfully match and place candidates to opportunities secured. - Provide information, advice and guidance regarding suitable qualifications and opportunities. - Ensure programmes meet the needs of the learner and employer - Mentor and monitor candidates throughout their programme and placement via effective learner engagement, IAG, placement and progression planning. - Administer programmes, completing all necessary paperwork to a compliant and quality standard. - Ensure a robust referral system is in place to meet monthly, quarterly and annual start targets. - Achieve monthly start, placement and progression targets as per delivery profiles - Monitor and support learners throughout their programme and manage customer attendance on work placements. - Ensure learners are working in a safe environment Essential Experience: - Experience of Apprentice attraction and recruitment / placement - Experience of Employer engagement, generating Apprentice placements / opportunities - Experience of working towards targets and KPI`s - Excellent understanding of Apprenticeships - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong administrative and organisational skills - Possess a confident, friendly and professional manner - Strong business acumen and the ability to forecast change - Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle. - Must be flexible with travel.
