Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Execution of the Resourcing Annual Business Plan DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES: Sale of Specialist Resource : ● Identification of transport operators requiring temporary labour solutions ● Identification of transport operators requiring permanent labour solutions ● Preparation and presentation of specialist labour “product” to transport operators ● Management of the required Admin functions to ensure effective payroll system ● Management of invoicing function to ensure acceptable divisional cashflow (POWER) ● Maintenance of up to date records and reports on current opportunities (SalesForce) ● Maintenance of records of current team and profitability (SalesForce) ● Awareness of Legislative movements within our current and prospective markets ● Awareness of vehicle park movements within our current and prospective markets ● Awareness of the above data with the aim to identify commercial opportunity. ● Bring to the attention of Management any compliance requirements ● Assist and advise on the solution to any compliance requirements ● Assistance to Head of Marketing in targeting contract and client markets Appointment of Specialist Resource: ● Maintenance of “product records” (SalesForce) ● Ensure Product remains legal & compliant during contract or on presentation ● Communicate any discrepancies to the BDM-R ● Offer assistance to the BDM-R in sourcing quality resource ● Cover for BDM-R admin function when required KEY SUCCESS MEASURES: ● Placement and maintenance of temporary technical team ● Compliance with current legislative requirements in recruitment ● Customer relationship building and maintenance KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ● Knowledge of the PSV and HGV market ● Expert Knowledge of the recruitment industry ● Commercial awareness SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: ● Strong interpersonal skills ● Analytical – the ability to identify commercial opportunity ● Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively build and maintain relationships at all levels ● Ability to proactively identify and generate new business opportunities ● Effective Administrative skills ● Highly motivated – team player DIRECT REPORTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR: N/A LIAISE WITH: Internally: Head of Engineering Directors BDM’s Externally: Operator/customers Contractors Associated Partners Customers This job description sets out the main duties and responsibilities of the job-holder.
