Job Title: Executive Search Researcher
Location: London, United Kingdom
Salary: £20/30000 base plus bonus
Job Published: January 20, 2016 10:12

Job Description

Would you like to take your recruitment skills into executive search and deal only with the most senior and significant vacancies? We are looking to find a researcher for a global headhunting company within the advertising, digital and media industries.  Your role will be to take on recruitment projects from a consultant and then investigate the market to find individuals with the key skills and experiences the client is looking for. You will then contact those people to discover their situation and motivations and assess their suitability for the role before returning a shortlist of candidates to the consultant to finish the process. There will be a lot of desk research but also some formal interviewing and client visits. You will also be expected to be a regular attendee at industry events such as conferences, forums and awards functions.
The right person could come from a number of backgrounds. You might already be a recruitment researcher either within the media sector or within some other industry. You could perhaps be a media recruiter within a more traditional environment and either not enjoy the business development aspect of the job or be looking to make the move into Executive Search. Or maybe you are a journalist with an understanding of the media world that wants to break into recruitment.
In either case you will need to have an understanding of, and a real passion for, the media landscape and the different roles and personalities that exist within it. You will also need to be well educated with a good degree and a polished style which is professional and businesslike without being overly formal.
Depending on experience the basic salary will be between £20,000 and £30,000 with a £5/10,000 bonus on top.
This is a great opportunity to make the move into a fantastic company that is astonishingly well respected within a dynamic but demanding sector.
