Job Description

Swarm Apprenticeships CIC are looking for a Freelance Recruitment Consultant/Apprenticeship Tutor to undertake peripatetic tuition, assessing and reviews of learners on the Recruitment Consultant apprenticeship and vocational qualifications. To support the Operations Department in the coordination, planning, monitoring and delivery of quality training and learner progress in line with external profiles/targets. Key Responsibilities: - ● To provide training, support and guidance to learners working towards their apprenticeship standard ● To provide training, support and guidance to learners working towards their Functional Skills, Maths and English ● If required, invigilate and supervise learners under test conditions ● Deliver, in a professional manner, all training sessions ● When required, assist in the carrying out of initial assessments with learners ● Set up and maintain course/learner files to a standard as directed by Operations ● Support learners in the maintenance of their e-portfolio ● Communicate and support with all other departments within the company ● Accurately and timely complete and update the Individual Learning Plan for all learners in line with external audit and quality controls ● Analyse and verify that all documentation meets required standards for funding and auditing purposes ● Monitor and ensure that all learners are on target to meet Gateway and EPA ● Accurately and comprehensively complete learner reviews, ILDP and visit plans ● Understand and proactively promote Prevent, Safeguarding, Equality and Health & Safety ● Ensure compliance with GDPR ● Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality/ administrative management ● Understand audit requirements relating to submitted documentation ● Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility ● Adhere to and understand Company Policies as identified within the Staff Handbook Key challenges: - ● Attention to detail in verifying large volumes of paperwork ● Understanding of wide range of External Bodies’ requirements, legislation relating to the delivery of training to young people ● Internal communication between Departments ● Time management and tracking of learners on apprenticeship frameworks ● Work with people from a wide range of backgrounds ● Processing and accurate filing of important documentation ● Ensuring quality of delivery and high standards in line with Ofsted Qualifications: - ● Assessor Qualification D32/33, A1 or TAQA (essential) ● Maths, English and ICT GCSE, A Level or Functional Skills at Level 2 (Desirable) ● Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) Level 3 or above (Desirable) Personal Qualities: ● Self-motivated ● Good interpersonal skills ● Flexible approach to work ● Access to transport Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9:00 - 5:00 Remuneration: * Tutoring Sessions are paid up to £24 per hour depending on experience * Mileage at 35 pence per mile after the first 40 miles By applying for this position, you agree for your data to be stored until notice is given by you for it to be removed.
