My client within the Charity sector has an exciting opportunity for someone with a Fundraising background to join them on a permanent basis. They already have a successful individual giving programme but are looking for someone to come on board to assist with bringing on additional donor recruitment. This person will research, develop, execute and monitor an ambitious multi-channel supporter recruitment plan in line with the overall fundraising strategy for individual giving and led by the Individual Giving Manager Build on existing recruitment programmes and develop and implement new approaches across multiple channels Optimise and integrate campaigns across mobile, web, email, social and traditional media and direct channels to generate the best possible return of investment – working closely with the Individual Giving Manager to maximise donor retention and development Contribute information for regular, meaningful, digestible, insight-driven reports that will enable sound decisions as to changes in campaign tactics and inform the ongoing donor recruitment strategy Working in a small team you will be able to put your own ideas forward for new campaigns and develop with the organisation as they look to grow in the future. Essential Knowledge and experience University degree or equivalent Excellent organisational skills with ability to work on own initiative, and to manage several projects at the same time, often with conflicting priorities Proven ability Strong communication skills and ability to relate and converse confidently with a wide range of people with diverse backgrounds face to face and remotely Ability to write clearly and appropriately for internal and external audiences, particularly online Good knowledge and understanding of the charity sector and all types of direct marketing best practice and techniques including writing campaign content for all media channels, managing suppliers Experience of using a range of social media including Facebook and Twitter on behalf of an organisation Experience of running campaigns over social media ideally with technical expertise to support them with fully integrated back up such as planning and setting up Facebook and Google ads Experience of using a CMS (content management system), ideally WordPress although not essential Experience of writing content for webpages, editing page layouts and creating donation forms Experience of running or playing a significant role in external events aimed at recruiting donors Desirable skills Experience of optimising content for search engines Experience of analysing campaign results Experience of working with website designers on structuring websites for specific audiences
