General Recruitment Team Member Portishead Part time 22 hours per week Contract currently to end of year £9 per hour Our client is looking for an experienced General Recruitment Team Member. To be responsible and accountable for the overall and day to day to support the recruitment process. This will involve providing support, advice and updating the Hiring Manager as required as well as liaising with candidates both in writing and verbally. 1. The post holder will manage their own workload dealing on a daily basis with conflicting priorities and urgent requests for assistance/information and will meet deadlines set by regulations, policies and legislation 2. The Post Holder will be expected to identify appropriate course of action for routine cases or understood procedures and to undertake these without recourse to further consultation. They will need to be able to identify more complex cases where they may be a need to seek guidance from Recruitment Team Leader and/or Recruitment Team Manager 3. The Post Holder will be responsible for excising skill and judgement in resolving any issues or problems between the service, Southwest One, and Clients within the established criteria, practices, procedure and policies but decide when to flag or escalate to Recruitment Team Leader and/or Recruitment Team Manager 4. Whilst the Recruitment Team Manager sets most of the Post Holders work, they will be able to select work carried out on a daily basis to manage their own workloads to achieve the set deadlines 5. When checking advertisements, job descriptions and other information, the Post Holder is require to recognise anomalies and inappropriate text, and decide whether to refer this to the Recruitment Team Leader and/or Recruitment Team Manager 6. In the absence of the Recruitment Team Leader, they may be required to deal with more complex queries and decisions where their knowledge and skills facilitate this
