Job Description

Leading international law firm is looking to recruit a Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager on an initial 12 month FTC, to provide a comprehensive service to support the effective recruitment, management, development and qualification of trainee solicitors in the London office. Duties will include acting as the main point of contact, both internally and externally, for all queries relating to graduate recruitment, managing all aspects of graduate recruitment branding and advertising, managing the trainee vacation scheme and open day selection processes, as well as overseeing the three vacation schemes, work experience scheme and interns throughout the year. You will also be responsible for managing the trainee solicitor seat rotation process, monitoring current and future trainee performances and managing the appraisal and qualification processes. Applicants should be educated to a degree level or equivalent and should have extensive experience working in a graduate recruitment function in a law firm. A full understanding of the processes involved in the trainee solicitor recruitment cycle is essential, as is the ability to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the junior members of staff, including the Graduate Recruitment & Development Assistant, so the ability to work well within a team is vital. A salary of up to £60,000 is possible for this role depending on experience, as well as a fantastic benefits package. Standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, however a flexible attitude is required as there may be the possibility of overtime
