My client is looking to recruit a Graduate Recruitment Officer to join their HR team. The purpose of the role is to attract and retain high calibre graduates to the firm and administer exam training of professional trainees and other staff. Role responsibilities: Graduate Recruitment Liaise with Group Heads to establish trainee recruitment requirements and provide expertise in selection processes Utilise a variety of methods to attract candidates, including attending careers fairs, skills events and the internet/social networking tools Responsible for the selection process; select candidates for assessment centre, coordinate assessment centre logistics, content and Group representative attendance and conduct debrief meetings with Groups to determine offers Be the main point of contact for applicants from initial enquiry to induction, communicate offers and rejections to applicants and provide individual feedbackGraduate development Be a visible support and advisor to trainees, advising on grading and salary progress Manage the administration and attendance of all professional qualifications, monitor trainees' appraisals and work experience, report study progress and exam results for all employees Manage relationships with tuition suppliers and with Group Heads to provide feedback and recommendations on trainees' developmentWork experience Responsible for the work experience programme and co-ordinating placements with departments Administration Compile quarterly graduate summary reports for Groups on exam performance discussing results and taking action where necessary Assist the Director of HR with the annual and interim salary review on students, compiling benchmark data for all students in February and August each year Ensure recruitment database is maintained and updated regularly for all placements Ensure all leavers are correctly charged their training costs and that information is provided to both the relevant HR officer and payrollPerson Specification: To be considered for the role you will be able to demonstrate: Educated to degree level in any subject (CIPD would be an advantage) Experience in dealing with university and/or school level recruitment Experience in dealing with and knowledge of professional qualifications
