Working as a recruitment consultant is a highly demanding role which requires determination but with the right training and continuous career development it can be exceptionally rewarding with rapid progression, excellent earning potential and ongoing rewards and incentives! SmithCorp are a market leading, specialist, recruitment agency, recruiting on a temporary and permanent basis into primary, secondary and FE education schools and colleges across the UK. With tremendous growth throughout 2016, SmithCorp are looking for tenacious individuals to being their recruitment career and make 2017 record-breaking! What the Role Entails You will manage the full recruitment life-cycle. As a business to business sales role, you will develop relationships with your business through cold calling or by recommendations from other business. You will be responsible for: • Negotiating fees, salaries and rates (meaning you can control how much you earn). • Candidate resourcing and headhunting • Network, advertising and networking. You will be responsible for managing the interview process from first call, right through to successfully placing a candidate in to their new job. Organic Growth & Training We pride ourselves on organic growth – we solely invest in trainees. Every manager and director you meet within the group will have all undertaken our bespoke in-house training programme. You will be assigned a mentor on your first day with us, usually a top biller who has been in the company between 18-24 months who you will have regular weekly meetings with to help you understand your business, train and develop you and help you progress in your career. We encourage constant development, throughout your time with SmithCorp you will undertake regular training sessions to enable you to mentor, become a team leader, manage and eventually reach director level. Earning Potential & Rewards We operate on a meritocratic system which means that you are only limited by your own effort and your promotion and earning is based on your own performance. In your first year with us you can expect realistic earnings of between 23k-£30k which will include a £3k rise to your basic salary. Although these are average earnings in exceptional cases consultants have earned in excess of £40k+ Average earnings in year two are between £35k-£45k and year three will see you earn £55k+.
