What you’ll be doing: From day one you will be conducting the day-to-day duties of a Recruitment Consultant which will be integrated into the Development Academy. You will be fully responsible for your own time management and new business generation however the following responsibilities will fall under your job title: • Cold calling potential new clients (80-90% phone based) • Market research • Sourcing and chasing leads • Identifying the top 10-20% of the candidate market • Taking job specifications over the phone • Arranging interviews • Negotiating fees and contracts • Aftercare of clients and candidates • Be prepared to spend up to 80-90% of your day on the phone • The hours are long; a typical consultant could work up to 55+ hours a week. What we are looking for: Excellent communicator - You need people to buy into you and must be able to build rapport with a wide range of people. Resilience – Recruitment is a tough job! There is a lot of rejection and setbacks; you need resilience to get you through the inevitable tough times. Driven & Proactive – You must display the ability to go the extra mile and never give up. You must be innately motivated by internal or external drivers, be that money, status or personal targets. Competitive – You must have the desire to outperform your peers and competitors. A need to succeed and be better than your peers can turn an average consultant into a Top Biller. High Achievers – We want people who walk the walk as well as talk the talk. We want to see a demonstration of the talent you have in your achievements so far being academic, sporting, professional or personal. Self-Analytical – We want our consultants to be confident in their abilities. After all, if you can’t sell yourself how can you sell anything else? But you also need to be aware of your weaker areas in order to develop yourself as a consultant. What we offer in return: In addition to industry leading training and a high basic salary, we also offer amazing incentives: • Completely uncapped commission. Average first year earnings with G2V are £35 to 50k, although our record is £80k.
