Graduate Recruitment Specialist, Attorney Recruitment – US Law Firm – Perm - £50,000 Our client a US Law Firm based in the City are recruiting for a Graduate Recruitment and Development Specialist to run the UK & US graduate recruitment and development programmes for the London office. The role holder will work closely with the Attorney Recruiting team and be involved in other responsibilities such as diversity and immigration matters. Duties will include: • Overseeing all trainees through their training contract, new starters, desk allocation, reviews and general support • Review all graduate applications, selecting for assessment days or interviews • Liaising with Partners on a regular basis regarding hiring needs • Organise the trainee induction program and PSC course for all trainees • Organise practice groups talks and events for two summer vacation schemes • Take ownership over the US Graduate Programme – end to end process • Organising events and presentations • Establishing relationships between the firm and universities, career advice centres and societies within the student population • Keeping all trainees up to date with the firms policy • Reporting on graduate recruitment statistics to the US for firm wide discussion • Oversee the design and implementation of all marketing materials • Keeping up to date with SRA regulations • Assisting with all new graduate recruitment projects Skills: • Solid Graduate Recruiting experience within a Law Firm is essential • Professional, approachable, confident and strong communicator • Strong attention to detail • Ability to problem solve and think critically and proactively • Excellent client service orientation and ability to work with all levels • Developing an excellent rapport with students • Team player • Able to juggle more than one task at a time whilst keeping calm under pressure • Strong IT Skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
