Our business is simply working in partnership with high profile FTSE 100 companies and your trainee role would be to assist these clients by placing talented candidates into both permanent and contract roles. What is the role? The role or a recruiter is a business to business (B2B) sales focused function and a key aspect is to build relationships across a specific industry enabling you to become a specialist in your market. You will be managing relationships with clients across a specific portfolio, plus developing a network of contacts within your market. You will be driving revenue and sales by placing candidates into roles with our clients, sourcing candidates using a variety of techniques including headhunting, networking, advertising and referrals. Finally, you will be required to build relationships with clients, meeting them regularly to understand their recruitment needs and updating them via email and calls on your progress to date. A role as a recruitment consultant is fast paced and dynamic and sales orientated, meaning no two days are the same, but typically you can expect to get involved in a broad range of activities including: •Sourcing leads from clients and candidates to understand where the sales opportunities lie amongst your clients •Identifying and targeting new business by calling clients to pitch Allegis Group as their recruitment/staffing provider of choice •Headhunting candidates from a variety of companies to understand their current employment opportunities and to pitch a new career opportunity •Creatively sourcing and screening candidates in a professional manner •Conducting interviews with candidates, presenting them to your client, receiving and delivering feedback to both candidate and client. Experience & Skills Sales experience is helpful, but no previous experience is necessary as all training will be provided.
