Trainee Recruitment Consultant £18,000 (OTE £25,000) 23 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays Full Total Fitness membership after successful completion of probationary period Pension Our office is based in Altrincham on Goose Green, just outside Total Fitness and a 5 minute walk from Altrincham Metrolink. Adepto Technical Recruitment is a relatively young business which has excelled in the two and a half years since it first began trading. Although a young business we have over 65 years of recruitment experience working within the company! We are keen to impart our knowledge on to the next generation of consultants and due to increased workload, we are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the business on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long and rewarding career in the recruitment industry, specifically covering a niche area within engineering and manufacturing. You will be given extensive on the job one to one training by various different people within the business. The opportunity to also complete formal industry qualifications will be available after a successful probationary period. We are looking for someone who is local too Altrincham, has secured a bachelor’s degree preferably with previous sales experience and has the attributes below; • Presentable- It is important that you look professional, clean and presentable as you will be representing Adepto when meeting candidates and clients. • Positivity, energetic and enthusiastic- Are you full of energy and a positive person? We have a positive, enthusiastic working environment in our office which we feel is very important. Your mood will also be conveyed over to clients and candidates so it’s important people enjoy speaking to you and you don’t come across as negative. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal- There is a lot of talking involved with recruitment especially on the phone. Are you the type of person that likes to talk? You need to have great conviction when selling your services to clients and selling jobs to candidates. You will need to be IT Literate and be able to send e-mails that are grammatically correct and have good punctuation and spelling and that are clear and concise. • Perseverance and resilience - Recruitment can be hard and there will be lows as well as highs. Are you the type of person who keeps going even after setbacks? • Drive and determination - We are looking for someone who is driven and likes to get things done. Have you got experience of completing tasks when there have been lots of challenges? Do you get that sense of achievement when completing tasks and seeing them through to a finish? • Hardworking- Probably one of the most important attributes of a successful recruiter. You will be expected to speak to candidates out of office hours at night and weekends when they can talk more easily. Are you the type of person willing to put the hours in to be a success? • Ambitious and money motivated- You will get the opportunity to earn a lot of money as a recruiter and we have all the experience already in the business to train you to become a success but you will need to be willing to work very hard. • The ability to negotiate and persuade- Do you have a salesy nature and are you good at negotiating and persuading, do you have experience in this area? This is a sales role and you will be given targets to hit and work towards. Sales skills will be required when securing the vacancy from the client, getting the interest from the candidate and then making the placement which can involve a number of e-mails and telephone conversations going back and forth with the client and candidates. Some of the responsibilities of this role will include; • Contact candidates from job boards and database via phone and e-mail • Input correct data on to our system from telephone conversations and meetings • Identify candidates who are fitting to your needs through phone screening and interviewing • Write and advertise jobs to attract candidates • Manage applications from advertised jobs • Market research to find business development opportunities If this opportunity is of interest and you would like to apply, please send a copy of your CV
