Breyer Group are recruiting for a HR Advisor (Recruitment) to join their team in head office Romford. This position will overlook the recruitment aspect for the business and will also require knowledge with employee relations and payroll to cover their colleague when required. To support our company growth and further develop our recruitment & onboarding experience & people processes. The Post The purpose of this role is to manage the recruitment and selection function for Breyer Group Plc providing key services to the business. The HR Advisor will provide professional advice and support across the full range of employee recruitment and selection activity for staff and associates along with working alongside their colleague HR Advisor to cover aspects of Employee Relations, Payroll and other aspects. Flexibility In order to work effectively in a changing environment, flexibility is required from the post holder. This may be that other tasks are undertaken and/or location of base may change. These will be within the same level of responsibility and terms and conditions of employment. Main Responsibilities * Manage the full end to end recruitment process, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide an efficient service, in line with the delivery of the ‘time to hire/cost per hire’ KPIs; continually review recruitment processes to ensure they are fit for purpose. * Manage and develop direct recruitment channels: professional networking, job boards, headhunting, company website, LinkedIn and other social media channels where appropriate. * Source and select candidates. * Identify skills to match appropriately with vacancies. * Lead on the development of strategies to promote the Breyer Group as an employer of choice across all group disciplines. * Manage and develop direct recruitment channels: job boards, headhunting, professional networking websites, LinkedIn and other social media channels where appropriate. * Coaching and training of line managers in recruitment and selection as well as advising on best practice. * Development and maintenance of recruitment & selection processes as well as a talent pool. * Negotiate contracts alongside managers and liaise with HR Administrator re: new starter packs. * Manage compliance process: eligibility to work, proof of address, driving licence check (fleet check system), qualification/certificates and references. * Manage agency relationships and negotiate rates with external service providers, revise and create a PSL list to reflect the budgets of individual departments and to build upon relationships allowing better negotiation of rates. * Sit in on recruitment panels when required. * Ensure any agency rebates are claimed appropriately. * Ensure referrers of “refer a friend” employees are paid appropriately. * Manage multiple databases to communicate various temporary and permanent recruitment data for: individual contracts, monthly board reports, business cases and end of year review. * Report to Head Of HR any new initiatives that may enhance best practice recruitment across the organisation. * Provide cover from time to time in other areas of HR disciplines as business needs dictate at HR Director’s request. * Ensure all above tasks are dealt with confidentially and in line with GDPR legislation. * To cover HR Advisor in absence working on ER, Payroll, TUPE and other ad hoc Success Measures/KPI’s Positive feedback from satisfied customers who trust and are confident in the ability of the post holder to work collaboratively to manage their recruitment campaigns. Vacancies filled in accordance with agreed deadlines and budgets. Maintenance of a low number of agency hires – using direct sourcing methods where possible with the ability to demonstrate cost savings. Organised and up to date recruitment systems adhering to the appropriate policies and procedures. Accurate and timely reporting eg. cost analysis of recruitment campaigns, Equality data and monthly statistics of recruitment and selection. Fresh and innovative approaches to recruitment campaigns. Person Specification The successful candidate should meet the following requirements: Knowledge and Experience Previous experience of managing the full end to end recruitment process. Previous experience of and responsibility for managing numerous vacancies simultaneously. Previous experience of planned management training in recruitment and selection. Previous experience of organising and facilitating assessment centres. CIPD Level 5/HR Degree or equivalent with proven HR Experience Employee Relations knowledge TUPE (Desirable) Employment law Management of budgets. Understanding of the recruitment market place including advertising media, recruitment consultancies and direct recruitment. Strong administration and time management skills. Proven experience in negotiation with external providers. Confident and professional communicator with staff at all levels. Basic understanding of employment law and how it relates to recruitment. Strong stakeholder and candidate management experience. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Consultative approach. Personal Attributes and Skills Have good interpersonal skills. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Be of smart appearance Be able to cope with pressure Be Flexible and adaptable Be able to deal with various tasks at once Be persuasive, persistent and patient.
