HR & RECRUITMENT MANAGER Ipswich Purpose of Role * Action all HR transactions efficiently and accurately within given timescales. * Oversee Recruitment across the board * Provide advice to employees & management in accordance to Company policy. * Assist with and, where appropriate lead on HR projects as may arise * Deputise for the Head of HR UK in their absence. * Provide coaching and support to other members of the team as required. * Advising Key Relationships on Company procedures and policy (24 hour turnaround) * Give Coaching and advice on the HR processes for any Employee Relations casework,as designated by the HR Manager or Head of HRCS taking ownership of specific cases which are medium risk * Act as investigating officer on any disciplinary investigations, as requested by the HR Manager and/or Head of HRCS and to undertake any informal investigations as required. * Provide assistance to the HR Manager with any redundancy casework * Undertake and Manage recruitment campaigns for senior positions * Work with the Hiring Manager to produce advert wording, job profile and a recruitment campaign in line with standard template * Upload jobs onto relevant job boards as required. * Managing any speculative and/or e-mailed CVs * Update candidates on progress of application as necessary * Issuing full CV/Cover letter to Hiring Managers upon completion of shortlisting process. * Arranging interviews for candidates and Hiring Managers based on information agreed between the Recruitment Manager and Hiring Manager. * Notifying candidates that they have been unsuccessful throughout each stage of the process. * Chase Line Managers to ensure they stay on track and within agreed timescales during the process * Attend any relevant Jobs/Careers Fayres as appropriate. * Take ownership of the Companies "Recommend a Friend" scheme, liaising with Payroll to make the appropriate payments in line with the Company Policy. * Work with Recruiting Managers to determine the most effective methods and costs of recruitment. * Maintain an up to date "contact list/address book" of key recruitment contacts and Preferred Supplier List for Agencies including using social media to source candidates * Meet with the Recruiting Manager at the start of the process to agree dates and timescales * Work with the Manager providing appropriate advice to ensure that an up to date job profile is produced. * Write and proof read adverts ensuring best practice takes place * Be available to interview in exceptional circumstances only. (e.g. Internal Restructures, Higher Risk scenarios) * Make verbal offers to successful candidates. * Supervise the HR team on a day to day basis ensuring a positive and structured performance management culture is created and maintained * Ensure each team member has clarity on their own personal and team performance/objectives Education and Qualification MCIPD Qualification is desirable. Relevant Business Degree or higher. Proven general standard of education, GCSE's (A-C) including Maths/English or equivalent Must be highly computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint Previous experience of Managing Recruitment either in house or in a Commercial Agency. Ability to use good research and consultation skills to develop information and proposals. Ability to provide creative solutions to complex and sensitive HR and Recruitment issues Strong report writing skills for a variety of contexts Excellent organisational skills and ability to work proactively without supervision Ability to work well to conflicting deadlines Analytical thinking and problem solving at a detailed level Strong facilitation skills
