Job Description

We have a fantastic role available in Leatherhead, an interim HR and Recruitment Officer to join our professional services client for 12 months on a fixed term contract. Reporting to the HR Director you will be involved in all aspects HR role as well as supporting all recruitment for the firm. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is immediately available and enjoys recruitment and administration as part of their day-to-day duties. You will have at least 1 years’ experience working in an internal recruitment function.   About the role First point of contact for general HR queries by telephone email and in person; advising employees and managers on how to deal with HR issues, HR Policy and employment law. Overseeing the probation process, ensuring that all meetings are happening at relevant times and that necessary action is taken. Handle employee relations from start to finish, including maternity/paternity, disciplinaries, grievances from start to finish, escalating to the HRM when appropriate Manage probationary reviews with all line managers ensuring they happen on time every time and subsequent paperwork is drafted. Manage all sickness absence related queries, monitor and highlight absence issues, escalating when appropriate. Support the HR director with the implementation of recruitment Policies and procedures including; supporting interview processes, attendance at Recruitment fairs and assessment centres. Administration of recruitment systems and databases, including ensuring on-line recruitment system is updated and delivering new manager system overviews To produce and send all offers of employment for supervisory and management appointments. About you HR/Recruitment experience in a professional services setting - essential. Must have excellent attention to detail.
