Our client currently have a Full Time vacancy within the HR function, providing full recruitment and administration services based in the North Division. Salary £ Dependent upon experience As a Recruiter you will be responsible for the coordination of all recruitment and on-boarding activities for the Northern region including job postings and advertising, screening, interviewing, pre-employment requirements and the on-boarding and orientation of all new hires. This position will process all new hire paperwork including data entry into various systems including our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The successful candidate must possess considerable skill in recruitment activities and interviewing techniques. For this role, you may expect to work 37.5 hours per week on a Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities: * Liaise effectively with line management to assess recruitment requirements to ensure open vacancies are filled on a timely basis * Explore and decide on sources of recruitment * Conduct preliminary telephone Interviews for external applicants * Conduct face to face Interviews for external and internal applicants and make objective selection decisions * Ensure job offers are made to maintain staffing plans * Perform miscellaneous recruitment administration including reference checks on applicants and issue contracts of employment * Administer DBS Applications and renewals. * Generate letters and contracts for new and existing employees and other adhoc administration duties as required. * Provide feedback to candidates and handle queries relating to job offers or rejections * Evaluate recruiting and interviewing processes to assess success rates and make process improvements * Handle miscellaneous employee queries in a professional and timely manner whether on the phone or face to face. * Enter, update information and interrogate the HR information computer system * Process confidential documents to comply with data protection requirements * Ensure deadlines are met for weekly and monthly reports. * Track and Conduct Exit Interviews.
