Job Description

Key Skills • Experience of working within the care sector • Training Experience • Strong communication and inter-personal skills General Description • To review current training strategies to streamline training delivery across the business including, but not exclusive to, current E-learning package and face to face training delivery • Analyse the training need in consultation with Line Managers and current CQC recommendations • To produce training materials, manuals/documentation that comply with regulatory and legal requirements • To develop an in-house training academy, identifying areas of best practice across the industry and adapting them to suit the business need • Identify areas of best practice and roll out across the business after approval from the CEO • Review and develop the current induction programme to ensure it is a value-add function across the business • Monitor and analyse the training delivery through the use of feedback and any other relevant platforms • Produce and analyse statistical data to ensure compliance in training through the homes ensuring the necessary actions are taken to address non compliance • Identifying funding for training within the care sector in England and Scotland • To be confident enough to deliver “value-add” training to all staff in an engaging way Work Experience Requirements • This post would ideally suit a home manager or a quality manager looking for a new challenge • Experience within the care sector is essential • A genuine interest training with the regulatory knowledge to deliver value to this integral business
