Our well established global Tewkesbury engineering client has an urgent requirement for an experienced HR Recruitment Coordinator initially for a 3 month contract. This could be extended to a 9/12 month contract depending on workload. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR / Recruitment background and be available to start 1st August. Salary £22/28K pro rata depending on experience. HR Recruitment and Development Coordinator Summary: • To provide support to the customer group through the co-ordination and administration of Recruitment and Development related activity • Co-ordination and administration activities from vacancy conception through to offer. • Provide Administrative support to all areas of the HR shared services team as required eg: Resourcing, Development, Reward/Benefits, Payroll, HR Admin Principal Duties: • Proactive sourcing of candidates for current and prospective vacancies • Administrative and coordination support for any Development activities • Sifting applications from job boards, and paper applications and ensuring internal and external advertising is appropriately renewed and up to date • Responding appropriately to every application made using the most appropriate method whether this is verbal, electronic or postal • Prescreening candidates and providing a short list of candidates to managers. • Arranging interviews to include booking meeting rooms and equipment, as appropriate • Communicating with recruitment agencies to include answering adhoc queries • Maintaining electronic recruitment files and updating the Recruitment Management System (RMS), as required • Supporting members of the HR function with the administration and co-ordination of activities outside of Recruitment and Development as and when required • Support the Recruitment and Development Manager with ad hoc projects (eg implementation of the new Recruitment Management System, Apprentice Co-ordination and onboarding tasks Additional duties: • This role is required to predominantly support Recruitment and Development activities but the incumbent will be required to support all areas of the HR Team so must be able to manage their time effectively and prioritise tasks accordingly. • You may occasionally be asked to travel to one of our other UK sites to support any of the above responsibilities Essential criteria: • Previous experience of working in an HR environment with specific recruitment experience, ideally in an in-house role but will consider applicants from an agency environment • Administrative skills to include data entry, diary co-ordination and managing electronic files • Strong customer service skills to include providing a consistent service to colleagues, internal and external customers and suppliers • Computer literate with intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and email capabilities • Prioritisation skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment To apply for this role please email an up to date CV.
