About the role: You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment life cycle, from attraction through direct sourcing, interviewing and assessment, offer management and onboarding, managing vacancies across a range of disciplines and levels of seniority. This is a varied role, and would suit a candidate with high energy levels and the discipline to work in a fast-paced environment. This role will report into the HR Manager and sits within a very busy HR Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company which is experiencing a period of change with ambitious plans for the future. Responsibilities • Working closely with hiring managers at all stages of the process • Direct sourcing using LinkedIn, other social media platforms and advertising • Mapping local employers to build talent banks of potential future candidates • Screening candidate CVs, and conducing first round telephone interviews • Face to face interviews, conducted with hiring managers • Promoting the company as an employer of choice • Maintaining the applicant tracking system • Assisting with project work • Responding to candidate and agency enquiries Skills & Experience • Previous experience of high volume and senior level inhouse recruiting • Previous in-house or agency recruitment experience is preferred • Good stakeholder management skills, and an ability to deliver hard to fill roles, sometimes with a small group of potential candidates • Good assessment and selection skills to ensure that hiring managers have small but high quality shortlists to save valuable management time • Experience of using a variety of media for candidate generation, including online recruitment channels and social media • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook • GCSE Maths & English grade C or above, ideally educated to degree level • Excellent spelling & grammar skills • Highly motivated • Ability to work flexibly • Excellent time management skills - you will be working on a number of briefs at all times • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of seniority Assertive Solutions is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy and are committed to equality and opportunity for all candidates.
