Salary Details: £19,878 a year plus benefits Looking for a way to show off your brilliant recruitment and coordination skills? Want to work for an expanding national charity? You’ll join our small in-house recruitment team, supporting operational colleagues around the country to recruit high calibre candidates into their services. You’ll form constructive relationships with colleagues around the business, and provide a warm, friendly and positive service for candidates. In a typical day you’ll answer a wide variety of queries by phone and email, you’ll write and publish appealing adverts, you'll advise operational colleagues on best practice recruitment and help ensure pre-employment checks go through as smoothly as possible. Recruitment isn’t rocket science. We just need to attract the right people, at the right time, using the right methods to fill our vacancies, all while making sure candidates have a great experience from their very first contact with us. That’s not to say it’s easy – everyone else is trying to attract those same candidates! You’ll be working in social care, and if you follow the news you’ll know that with an ageing demographic and budget cuts, this is one of the most challenging sectors for recruiters. But our team will tell you how rewarding it is to know that our work helps ensure fantastic care for the vulnerable people MacIntyre supports. You'll be working 35 hours a week. Mostly Monday to Friday daytime, but some flexibility is needed. About us MacIntyre provides learning, support and care for more than 1,500 children, young people and adults who have a learning disability and/or autism. We are based at locations around England and Wales. We believe that everyone has potential and the right to live a life that makes sense to them. About you You will need experience in either agency or in-house recruitment. You must be experienced in using applicant tracking systems. You'll use your communication and organisational skills well, juggling priorities effectively and keeping calm under pressure. You must be a driver with your own transport, as you will travel regularly to job fairs and other events around the country.
