The Trust aims to engage and inspire people about woods and trees to help us meet our vision of creating, restoring and protecting woodland. THE ROLE The Recruiter will manage the end to end recruitment process, ensuring vacancies are advertised in accordance with employment legislation and providing support to managers with shortlisting and interviewing. THE CANDIDATE You’ll need to have experience of managing all aspects of an in-house recruitment cycle, from drafting job descriptions, writing job adverts, creating assessment materials and conducting interviews. We want the best candidates, so you’ll need experience of effectively resourcing candidates via social media and job boards. We want you to work collaboratively with our managers, building excellent relationships and supporting and coaching them in terms of best practice recruitment, so you’ll need to be an effective communicator and able to gently persuade and influence. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT There’s no other organisation like the Woodland Trust. Whatever you do here you will be supporting our work to protect and enhance woods and trees. In return we recognise and value our people.
