Smart City Recruiter Ltd are looking for a talented and passionate Civils and / or Telecoms recruiter to join our clients HR and In-House Recruitment department. Our Client has big hiring plans for 2020 and beyond and they are looking for an in-house recruiter to help them find and engage talent for all functions across their business. Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working closely with internal stakeholders you’ll use your relationship skills and sourcing expertise to find and hire talented candidates. Doing it faster, more efficiently and with less disruption with their innovative trenching technology. And most importantly, with a superb team of people behind them. From project managers, vehicle and machine operators, engineers’ co-ordinators and many more. Whatever they do, they do it with that attitude that gets stuff done, moves things forward and keeps finding better ways. Whatever is needed, What our client does. Bringing faster connectivity to the UK by laying fibre across the nation. And doing it faster, with our innovative new trenching technology. Yet that’s not enough for them. They want to do more. To make changes in our industry. To set standards and drive opportunity, with clear training and career development for those in their team. With the right people, technology, and culture, who knows what they could do. What You Will Do * Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from the initial stages through to offer. * Use direct recruitment tools including LinkedIn and other social media platforms to identify and attract candidates and to build a talent pipeline. * Develop and implement new sourcing channels for hiring the best talent. * Conduct meetings with managers to agree suitable job specifications and to keep them and other members of the HR team informed of progress. * Arrange interviews including written tests if applicable, provide post interview feedback and make offers. * Continually seek to improve the way in which we recruit. * Build relationships with recruitment agencies that could support with hard to fill roles. * Design and deliver relevant recruitment training to hiring managers when required. * Perform any other duties as reasonably requested. Essential Skills/Qualifications: * You have proven experience in sourcing and hiring exceptional talent * You have proven experience in Civils and / or Telecoms recruitment * You have experience of sourcing and engaging with candidates at all levels * You have excellent written and spoken communication skills * You’re enthusiastic, motivated and proactive * You’re highly organised, and you enjoy completing tasks accurately and efficiently * You can proactively manage a busy and varied workload Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £22,000 - £30,000 Dependant on experience For more information please forward your up to date CV
