In-House Recruiter 6 month+ contract Location: Bristol and or Gloucester Vacancy Overview Working as part of our fantastic frontline team, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering a 'best in class' recruitment service and will be committed to growing the success of EDF Energy. You will be accountable for the delivery of a quality recruitment service to our business units. The team act as an extension of the HR department and they liaise with the different divisions of the company, understand hiring needs and then go and find the best people for the job. Nature and Scope The Recruiter will work across business units to deliver effective recruitment solutions in line with the EDF Energy policies and procedures for recruitment. Together with the pool of in house functionally focused recruiters, you will be accountable for building and maintaining talent pools with a view to increasing quality while decreasing time to hire and cost. You will provide support, communication and guidance to managers in all areas of recruitment, keeping them informed of progress on vacancies within the business unit. Principal Accountabilities We are looking for a Recruiter with full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. This role would suit someone who has worked in technical engineering recruitment in a previous role, or can turn there hand to source candidates within this field. Your Duties and responsibilities: * Develop and update job descriptions & job specifications * Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives * Prepare job adverts and post to appropriate job boards/ publications etc * Source and recruit candidates using CV databases, social media, LinkedIn Recruiter etc * Screen candidates CV's and job applications * Monitor and apply recruiting best practices * Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate and stakeholder relationships * Promote companies reputation 'as best place to work' * Work with hiring managers
