In-House Recruiter We are a centralised Recruitment team, supporting all Hilton hotels across the UK and Ireland and our mission is simple - we're Talent Hunters! We believe in searching out the best possible talent, creating a great experience for our candidates, whilst providing a fantastic recruitment service to all our Hiring Managers. This is a great opportunity for an experienced supervisor or assistant manager interested in a change of career or in experiencing in a different side of hospitality. What will I be doing? As a Recruiter, you are responsible for responding to all applicant requirements to deliver an excellent experience. You will be required to work closely with the Hiring Managers on their individual recruiting needs. Specifically, you will be recruiting for hotel operational entry level roles in our hotels. You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: * Respond to all applicants requirements in a professional, courteous manner in line with brand standards * Organise and facilitate regular assessment centres and open days when required * Assess suitability of candidates for the various hotels over the phone and face-to-face * Coordinate interviews/trials for candidates * Provide feedback on candidates to the Hiring Managers * Ensure all applicants have correct asylum and immigration documentation * Work with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industry * Assist with recruitment fairs The work environment is fast paced and results oriented and we all work together to achieve individual and team goals. The job requires strong initiative and self-direction, results will only be achieved with and through people. A sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated is the foundation for success. What are we looking for? The successful candidate is likely to have had some exposure to junior recruitment or even worked in a Hotel previously at a supervisory level or above and have a good understanding of hotel operations. The ability to work at a fast pace, with an eye for detail is essential. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: * Previous experience working in a hotel * Understand of what is required to recruit successfully * Positive attitude * Good communication and public speaking skills * Committed to delivering a high level of customer service * Excellent grooming standards * Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations * Ability to work on your own or in teams It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: * Experience in recruitment * Experience with Taleo or a similar ATS A self-confident, extroverted style that can enliven, engage and positively impact individuals and groups is essential.
