The client Our client, a leading training provider, based in Cardiff, established over 30 years ago to meet emerging skills gaps. Working in Wales, they support over 1000 employers and 5,000+ learners every year through a range of training and employment services. They are looking to recruit a results driven Initial Guidance and Recruitment Officer to join their growing team. The Role * Responsible for arranging appointments with employers / learners to complete the sign up process for new qualifications * Responsible for providing information, advice and guidance to support individuals in their choice of qualification * Responsible for completing assessments / skills scans, via bespoke on-line system(s) to identify level of learning * Accountable for setting clear expectations of the learners' journey and providing information on the qualification requirements and standards The candidate * A1 qualifications or equivalent * Experience of working in a commercial sector * Administration and customer service experience * Excellent communication skills * Proven organisational skills * Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks * Full Driving licence and use of own vehicle * Welsh speaking would be advantageous Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 Benefits: Excellent benefits package, including a contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, personal development and career opportunities, childcare voucher scheme, cycle to work scheme.
