Our Central Birmingham based client seeks an experienced Interim In-house Recruiter. Must be available immediately and worked within an In-house capacity (not agency) 2-3 months interim work c£150 per day Managing up to 50 live vacancies at any one time. Blue- collar and White-collar staff, UK coverage Full circle role, working within an established team. • Manage the Full life-cycle of the recruitment process to offer stage • Source appropriate active and passive candidates via job boards, social media etc • Manage response from websites, advertising, direct applications and referrals • Screen CV’s of all applicants and referrals and conduct telephone interviews for suitability • Arrange and manage the interview process • Conduct any testing required at interview stage • Provide feedback to all successful and unsuccessful candidates • Maintain existing recruitment data on all candidates; including log successful/unsuccessful candidates, log methods i.e. websites, referral, headhunting, maintain call lists and volume evidence. Include number of roles filled by: referral, internally and via directly sourced methods, cost savings via direct recruitment, new initiatives to attract candidates • Check eligibility of candidates to work in accordance with Immigration and recruitment legislation • Ensure candidates provide all relevant documentation before making an offer of employment • Provide consultative recruitment advice to managers, including meeting managers to discuss new vacancies, agreeing resourcing strategy and promoting direct recruitment as both a cost saving initiative and value-added service • Assist in writing approved job descriptions and job specs in line with legislative requirements. • Ensure appropriate levels of sign off prior to commencing the recruitment process • Manage the offer process – including providing up-to-date salary and market information and comparison data from recent hires in the business area • Consult with HR colleagues, ensuring they are kept abreast of all recruitment activity/developments • Proactively carry out head-hunting life cycle to create a talent pipeline • Where appropriate Arrange agency briefings to enable a more efficient search • Provide a weekly live job report to agencies with status updates on all roles being worked on by the recruiter • Ad hoc recruitment administration, including filing CVs • Ad hoc project work as given by the HR Director from time to time
